Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-07-30

Service description

PDFtoMD.im provides a free browser-based utility that attempts to convert PDF content into Markdown and related table formats. The service may change, impose browser-safety limits, or become unavailable without notice.

Authorized and acceptable use

Use the tool only with documents you own or are authorized to process. Do not use the site to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy obligations, access controls, or the rights of another person. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, distribute malicious PDFs, bypass security controls, or overload its static hosting.

Your documents and output

The application does not claim ownership of a selected PDF or the generated Markdown. You are responsible for the document, for verifying the conversion, and for deciding where the result may be stored or shared.

Accuracy and availability

PDF layout is ambiguous. OCR, reading order, headings, formulas, tables, and character encoding can be incomplete or wrong. The tool is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted access, or preservation of a result.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for loss arising from reliance on converted output, loss of data, disclosure caused by a user’s device or later sharing, or inability to use the service. Users should keep the source PDF and independently verify important content.

Third-party names and software

Third-party product names may appear only to explain compatibility or potential workflows. PDFtoMD.im is not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers unless explicitly stated. Browser dependencies retain their respective licenses. The repository’s own licensing terms, if published, govern reuse of the site source.

Changes

These terms may be revised as the product changes. Continued use after a posted revision means the updated terms apply where legally permitted.
